Project GenX

Sometimes an artist comes along and remakes a song you really love and they butcher it (we're looking at you Miley Cyrus). And then sometimes (very rarely but sometimes) they take that song to a whole new level. The same can also be said for sequels to our favorite movies. This episode we tackle a few songs that were remade better than the original and movies with sequels that are better than the first movie. And of course we get sidetracked along the way and wind up detouring through all kinds of nonsense. Christmas. A wonderful and heartwarming time of the year filled with explosions, orgies, cons, casinos and mutated super villains. That's right, we are talking about Christmas movies that you would never see on the Hallmark Channel. We are also joined by our friend and fellow freak show family member Barry Webb as we wind through Shane Black's entire movie catalog, debate whether to not Die Hard is a Christmas movie and settle in on the Denis Leary of it all. We're not talking about linens (or Bolivia) and we don't wanna change your mind. So settle in with a warm cup of coco (or a scotch on the rocks) and enjoy the madness.
